Spider-man appears in front of a Library in pursuit of a villain called the Troglodyte. Troglodyte has stolen an invention called a transporter. The transporter sends Spider-man and three kids through the fictional worlds of "The Lost World", "The War of the Worlds" "The Jungle Book", "That Was Then, This Is Now", and "Ivanhoe".
