An overworked Lois goes on vacation to her parents' home in Pittsdale where she meets a scientist who tells her he is from Krypton and claims to have fallen in love with her.

When Superman uses Lois as a decoy to capture a criminal, she angrily agrees to marry Dahr-Nel and travel to the future with him to live, but doesn't realize that he intends to put them both in suspended animation for 200 years.
