Linda is exposed to red kryptonite and loses her memory and her powers. With her memory and powers gone, Linda and Jimmy become romantically involved and, in due time, they get married. Eventually, the effects of the red kryptonite fade and Linda becomes apprehensive about telling Jimmy her secret – that she’s really Supergirl.

Story 6: "Jimmy Olsen Marries Supergirl!] Part II: Jimmy Olsen's Two Brides!"

Linda gradually introduces her Supergirl persona to Jimmy as a means of slowly revealing her secret identity to her husband.

Story 13: "The Doomed Reporter!"

Jimmy receives a tip that some convicts, being transported by train, will attempt an escape. Jimmy goes undercover to get the story on the escape attempt.
